Forum REH – “Climate Change: Perception(s) and the Role(s) of Civil Society”, 23/10/2025

The Forum provides a platform for exchanging ideas and debating issues, enabling REH members to share information and experiences. In order to continue to fuel collective reflection and work towards a better understanding and consideration of climate and environmental issues, we invite you to explore the topic through the perceptions of countries in the “Global South” of the effects of climate change and adaptation and mitigation measures.

Climate Change: Perception(s) and the Role(s) of Civil Society

For this Forum, the REH is pleased to welcome distinguished guests who will speak according to the following program:

• 2:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.: The last three months of the REH
• 2:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Civil society and climate justice – Mohamadou Fadel Diop | Head of the Social Justice Program, OXFAM Senegal
• 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Round table discussion with climate activists: Overview and testimonials. Climate change, awareness-raising actions, and civil society: cross-analysis of local impacts, perceptions, and dynamics.
