This informative session will present the WREC Waste or Material Characterization Exercise Guidance in detail, with examples.

The tool is designed to help humanitarian organizations measure their waste and consider alternatives to landfilling, such as reducing packaging, repairing and reusing broken devices, repurposing or recycling items, safely disposing of unrecoverable waste, and setting up reverse logistics schemes.
