Packaging baseline assessment based on humanitarian emergency responses in 2021, May 2023

Working with the World Food Programme, the JI developed a humanitarian packaging baseline using data from its partners corresponding to the packaging of 6.77 million metric tons of food and non-food items (NFIs) distributed in 2021. In addition, the JI and WFP developed a packaging baseline assessment tool to provide humanitarian organizations with a simple way to calculate and monitor their packaging use regularly .
