Follow-up report on the Statement of Commitment at year +5, December 2025

The REH and the signatories of the Statement of Commitment of Humanitarian Organisations for the Climate present the year +5 monitoring report, which highlights the progress made and the challenges faced by the signatories in achieving their objectives.

As a reminder, the signatories have undertaken to :

1. Measure their impact on a regular basis;
2. Reduce their carbon footprint: by setting a reduction target in line with IPCC recommendations of -30% by 2025 and -50% by 2030;
3. Adapt humanitarian action to new environmental and climatic challenges;
4. Communicate: make this information public as soon as it is available, and on an annual basis;
5. Involve other players to raise our ambitions.

Where do the signatories stand five years later?

The aim of this report is to help the rest of the sector ask itself the right questions about reducing the carbon footprint of organisations, and invites all organisations to get involved!
