It helps humanitarian organisations to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>identify environmental risks at an early stage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improve project quality;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>uphold the &#8220;Do no harm (to the environment)&#8221; principle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthen donor accountability;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>make better project decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our key calls<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We call on donors and policy-makers to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ensure dedicated, multi-year funding for NEAT+;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>recognise environmental assessment as essential humanitarian infrastructure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support the tool\u2019s ongoing governance and technical development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prevent the fragmentation of environmental assessment approaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Published by ADRA Germany, \u00c4rzte der Welt Germany, ASB, arche nova, Help, Malteser International, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), World Vision Germany Why is this important?
