M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res (MSF)<\/strong>, an international humanitarian medical association founded in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in situations of armed conflict, but also during epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, or when access to healthcare is denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This position is being offered as a temporary replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Context<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

OCP\u2019s commitment to environmental transition has strengthened in recent years. In 2023, OCP adopted an Environmental Roadmap<\/strong>, aligned with its 2026\u20132031 Strategic Orientations<\/strong>. After two years, most of the roadmap\u2019s flagship actions have taken shape, particularly in the areas of logistics<\/strong> (energy efficiency, waste management) and supply<\/strong> (reducing air freight, sustainable procurement criteria). However, some initiatives will require renewed effort\u2014foremost among them, the rationalization of air travel. Since mid-2024, OCP has also established a multidisciplinary \u201cHealth and Environment\u201d working group<\/strong>, focusing mainly on flooding, heatwaves, and toxic pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To develop the integration of environmental considerations within OCP at all levels\u2014strategic, tactical, operational, and cultural<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director<\/strong>, you will support, assist, and encourage the actions of each department in OCP\u2019s environmental transition (\u201cMitigation\u201d), while contributing to the definition of strategic visions and related work plans. As OCP\u2019s \u201cClimate and Environment Focal Point\u201d<\/strong>, you will serve as an information bridge between MSF\u2019s international platforms and the appropriate OCP contacts on Mitigation<\/strong>, Adaptation<\/strong> of Operations, and Climate Advocacy<\/strong>. Finally, you will conduct environmental monitoring and analysis beyond the MSF scope when relevant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Status:<\/strong> 12-month fixed-term contract (80%, 4\/5 time). Management position based in Paris<\/strong>. Remote work possible in accordance with MSF\u2019s policy (2 days\/week).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
