However, this is a complex task that requires the use of a range of solutions, from adjusting technical specifications to improving work processes (demand planning, stock management, etc.), as well as redirecting demand towards affordable, sustainable and low-carbon alternative products, particularly for key items.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event will be divided into two parts:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 45-minute round table exploring best practice in strategic supplier engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 35-minute world caf\u00e9 during which two groups will take it in turns to explore two subjects\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suppliers&#8217; commitment to food aid and agriculture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The pharmaceutical industry&#8217;s commitment to greener medical products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\n          <strong>Date: 1 December, from 10:00 to 11:30, UTC+4 (local time in Dubai)<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n<p>\n          <strong>Lieu : Pavillon des femmes, Zone verte, Expo City Dubai<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WREC and the Climate Action Accelerator are organising a round table discussion on how to develop a more strategic and collective approach to effectively reducing emissions from humanitarian supply chains.
